Field report — read through
These are heavy, complex cars, and the faults owners bring them in for are rarely simple: air suspension that sinks overnight, a diesel with a reputation to manage, or a warning that comes from one module and is caused by another. The two makes share engines, gearboxes and electronics, so we treat them together at our workshop in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. Work follows the manufacturer schedule with genuine or OE-quality parts and the right oil approval, and the service book is stamped. Prices are on our servicing page.

A car sitting low after standing overnight, a compressor that runs too long, or a suspension warning on the dash. We read the suspension fault codes and live data with a professional multi-brand scanner, then test the system to find the leaking air spring, valve block or pipe before anything is replaced.

There are reported crankshaft failures on some 2.7 V6 diesels, so the oil-change history matters more than usual. Ask for the service record, listen for knocking, and check for oil leaks and the condition of the air suspension. We can look the car over and read its fault codes before you buy.
