When you use the quote calculator, booking form, or contact form, we collect the information you provide — typically name, email, phone, and vehicle details — so we can respond to your enquiry. When you book online and pay a deposit, payment is handled by Stripe and we never see your card details.

Why we collect it

To respond to enquiries, prepare estimates, manage bookings, and contact you about work we're doing for you. We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not run retargeting advertising.

Analytics and cookies

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) only run if you accept them on the banner the first time you visit. If you reject, no analytics scripts are loaded at all. If you accept, your IP address is anonymised before it reaches Google, and we do not combine analytics data with your personal details. You can change your choice anytime using the panel below.

How long we keep it

Lead and enquiry data is kept for 24 months from your last contact with us. Booking records are kept for 7 years to comply with UK tax record-keeping requirements.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email shop@rootesmotors.co.uk and we'll respond within 30 days.
