Mercedes cars are built around a lot of electronics and a service system that decides for itself what is due. That is why the two things that matter most at an independent garage are the right diagnostic system and following the car's own schedule. We use Mercedes XENTRY/DAS, the manufacturer's system, at our workshop in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, and work on everything from the A-Class to the S-Class, the C, E and GLC families, the SUVs and the AMG models.
Mercedes uses a flexible service system (ASSYST) that alternates between a smaller Service A and a larger Service B, with extra items added by time and mileage. We follow what your car asks for rather than a generic menu. Oil is matched to the Mercedes approval your engine needs, such as MB 229.5, 229.51 or 229.71, and after the service we reset the indicator with XENTRY so the countdown to the next one is right. A warning on a Mercedes dash is often a symptom of a fault somewhere else in the car's network. XENTRY reads every module, shows live data and runs the guided tests Mercedes wrote for its own technicians, so the repair is based on evidence rather than a parts list. More on our diagnostics page.
The seven-speed 7G-Tronic (722.9) and nine-speed 9G-Tronic (725.0) are fitted across most of the rear-drive range. Harsh or delayed shifts, a flare between gears or a limp-home warning are the reasons owners bring them in. Our Mercedes 7G-Tronic and 9G-Tronic page covers the gearbox service.

Yes. We use Mercedes XENTRY/DAS, the manufacturer's own diagnostic system, so we can read fault codes across the car's modules, see live data, reset the service indicator after a Service A or B, and carry out the guided tests a generic code reader cannot.
Yes. Our dynamic transmission fluid exchange machine is in use in the workshop, and a Mercedes automatic gearbox service is from £399, priced to your car. The fluid is matched to the Mercedes specification for your gearbox and the level is set at the correct temperature using live data.
Yes, servicing, brakes, diagnostics and repairs. AMG engines vary a lot, so call us on 07746 922 273 with the model and engine before booking and we will talk through what your car needs.
Service A is the smaller service: oil and filter plus checks. Service B adds filters and a fuller inspection, and further items such as brake fluid and spark plugs are added by time and mileage. The car's own indicator (ASSYST) tells you which is due; we follow it and reset it with XENTRY afterwards.
