Field report — read through
Porsche ownership has two halves: the sports cars (911, Boxster, Cayman) where engine history matters more than anything, and the SUVs and saloons (Cayenne, Macan, Panamera) where weight, brakes and cooling do most of the wearing. We look after both at our workshop in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. Work follows the manufacturer schedule, the oil carries the right Porsche approval, parts are genuine or OE quality, and the service book is stamped.
Porsche schedules combine time and mileage, and the larger services add spark plugs, filters, brake fluid and, on some models, drive belts. We tell you before we start what your car is due and what it will cost. Prices are on our servicing page, and what the main dealer alternative means in practice is explained there too.

FAQ
It is a topic on earlier 996, 997 (pre-2009), 986 and 987 cars with the M96 and M97 engines, not on the later direct-injection engines. Many owners have the oil filter element checked for debris at each oil change as a precaution, and we are happy to do that. If you are buying one, the service history and the car's oil-change record matter more than anything else.

Porsche petrol engines use oil carrying a Porsche approval, such as A40 or, on newer engines, C40. Diesel Cayennes and Macans have their own approval. We match the oil to the approval your engine calls for.
A professional multi-brand diagnostic scanner, which reads fault codes and live data across the car's modules. We do not have Porsche's own dealer system, so for the rare job that needs it we will tell you before you book.
